Looking for a reason to return to campus? Join BREAA for a tour of Anchor House, UC Berkeley’s newest residential landmark, designed to elevate the student experience hosted by BDE Architects. 

Located at 1950 Oxford Street, this 14-story residence hall is a gift from the Helen Diller Foundation and was developed in partnership with UC Berkeley Housing. More information on the project here.

This thoughtfully crafted residence offers 750 to 800 beds across 239 units, including studio, two-bedroom, and four-bedroom apartments. The building wraps around a central open-air courtyard that begins on Level 2, creating a vibrant, light-filled core for student life.

This tour offers a firsthand look at how Anchor House redefines student housing through architectural innovation and community-centered design.
