Join BREAA LA for a Community Fundraiser Hike to Support Wildfire Recovery
We had planned to kick off 2025 with another refreshing hike to the iconic Hollywood Sign. However, this year has begun on a somber note, as Los Angeles grapples with the devastating wildfires that have affected countless lives in our community.
In light of these events, we are dedicating this year’s hike to raising funds for local wildfire relief efforts. Join us as we come together to support those in need while appreciating the scenic beauty of Los Angeles. Bring your friends, family, and furry companions (dogs welcome!) for a morning of connection, fresh air, and community. After the hike, we’ll gather at the Beachwood Cafe for bites, refreshments, and conversation starting at 10:30 AM.
This event is free and open to everyone, but we encourage donations to aid local wildfire relief efforts. Let’s turn this challenging start to the year into an opportunity to show the strength and heart of our BREAA community.

The MALAN team is maintaining a list of resources available to those affected by the fires in a Google Sheet and will update it with new resources or calls for volunteers & donations. This can be found on their homepage.
