A distinguished Berkeley alumnus and former Dean of the Haas School of Business, Chancellor Lyons has spent his career championing innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence. His return to lead the university is a powerful reflection of his enduring commitment to public education and the transformative spirit of the Berkeley community.
Throughout his illustrious career, Chancellor Lyons has been a steadfast supporter of the real estate programs at Cal. During his tenure at Haas, he played a pivotal role in expanding the reach and impact of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, creating new pathways for students, alumni, and industry leaders to engage in meaningful real estate research and education. We are profoundly grateful for his leadership, and his dedication to empowering the next generation of industry professionals.
