Reflecting on our past year's successes, we're eager to embark on another year of growth, collaboration, and achievement together. Here is an overview of some of the major milestones the organization has achieved in the past year and forthcoming exciting endeavors scheduled for the current year.
- The 2023 BREAA Annual Gala: The Golden Era of Downtown honoring Carol Galante for her years of service to Berkeley and the broader real estate community marked a significant milestone as a sold-out event, with a total attendance of 215 individuals and achieving the highest fundraising outcome on record.
- There has been notable progress in Fellowship support for students, evidenced by an expansion in the availability of mentors and monetary assistance.
- The establishment of the BREAA Advisory Board (BAB) was another pivotal development. Through its various subcommittees, the BAB has played a crucial role in offering guidance and support to advance key initiatives.
- BREAA membership experienced substantial growth, increasing from 150 individuals as of the inception of the BAB in June 2022 to a current count of 335 members.
