BREAA NYC Members and guests attended a presentation on commercial real estate capital market trends by Jim Costello, Chief Economist for MSCI’s Real Assets team. Jim focused on the current banking crisis, global inflation, and long-term climate risks and their impact on various asset classes and commercial real estate pricing.

Jim is the chief economist on the MSCI Real Assets team and is based in New York. He is the principal author of the US Capital Trends report series and a frequent speaker at commercial real estate conferences. He is a member of The Counselors of Real Estate and a former member of the Commercial Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
