David Lichtman
Bank of San Francisco

With over 35 years of commercial banking experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, David serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer at Bank of San Francisco. In this role, he oversees day-to-day operations catering to businesses, individuals, and nonprofits, emphasizing exceptional client service grounded in honor, integrity, performance, principled risk management, and employee excellence.

Before joining Bank of San Francisco, David held key leadership positions at First Republic Bank. As Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, he managed credit administration and supervised a loan portfolio exceeding $170 billion. Additionally, David shares his expertise as a lecturer in real estate finance and development at the University of California, Berkeley, including teaching at UC Berkeley's MRED+D program.

David holds an MBA from the UC Berkeley-Haas School of Business and graduated with honors in Economics from Vassar College. Beyond his professional endeavors, he demonstrates a deep commitment to youth and education in San Francisco. He has served on the Board of Directors at Leadership High School, mentored with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area, and provided life-skills mentoring to at-risk students at Megan Furth Academy. Currently, David serves on the Board of Directors at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.
