Dan Safier Dan is the President and CEO of Prado Group, a privately held real estate development and investment management firm specializing in urban residential, retail, office, and mixed-use properties. The company is dedicated to positively evolving the built environment. Dan oversees all investment and development operations. With over 30 years of experience, he has developed and invested in various properties across the Western US. His passion lies in creating vibrant, walkable, urban mixed-use environments. Dan is actively involved in several professional organizations, including ULI’s Urban Development Mixed-Use Council, Lambda Alpha International, UC Berkeley’s Fisher Center Policy Advisory Board, and he is a founding supporter of UC Berkeley’s Terner Center for Housing Innovation. He has also contributed his expertise to numerous boards, including serving on the Board of Directors of SPUR, as Board Chair and Director of the Jim Joseph Foundation, Chair of SFJCF’s Endowment, and as a current Director and Officer at the Schultz Family Foundation in Seattle. Dan holds a BA from UC Berkeley and a JD from UC Hastings College of Law. |
